Walnuts + Basil Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spaghetti (or your pasta of choice)

  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • handful of chopped leaves of fresh basil

  • lemon juice to taste

  • salt & pepper


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

  2. In the meantime toast the chopped walnuts over low heat in a pan big enough to add the pasta once it’s cooked.

  3. Once the walnuts are toasted and the pasta is done, drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the toasted walnuts.

  4. Add olive oil, basil, lemon juice and salt & pepper. Toss until glossy.
