Dulce de Leche

Ingredients

  • 1 can lite coconut milk

  • 3/4 can coconut cream

  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda*

  • Pinch of salt

*the baking soda gives the mix some thickness. It’s optional. Without the baking soda the consistency is going to be similar to

a caramel. I prefer it to have some thickness.


Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients in a medium sized pot at medium high temperature until sugar dissolves. Increase heat until it starts boiling (continue whisking), reduce heat to medium and let it boil for 20 minutes uncovered. Whisk occasionally.

  2. Cool completely before storing it in fridge.

  3. Enjoy with desserts and it pairs perfectly with Coconut flan.
